Beatrix turns one ~ Rustic Outdoor Raleigh, Cary, Apex Family Portrait Photographer at JC Raulston Arboretum

Matt and Becca chose the JC Raulston Arboretum on North Carolina State University’s campus for this sweet little girl Beatrix’s April birthday.  It was quite early in the year for the ground flowers to be in bloom, however many of the trees had buds in beautiful array of colors.  It made for an absolutely beautiful setting on a beautiful Spring day.

Beatrix was a little shy with me at first, but it did not take her long to warm up to the camera. She was such a sweet little girl.  ♥  That red hair, those blue eyes!!!  Matt is going to be putty in this little one’s hands.

I’ve known Matt for a few years now, but rather on the business side.  It was really fun to see a whole new side of him as a Dad.  Plus parents will do anything to their child to smile.  Singing, dancing, you name it, it was done.
