I am not sure how I found Headbands of Hope, but none the less I knew it was an organization I wanted to work with. I reached out to Jessica last year to see if they had an photography needs and Jessica had a lot of interest in working with me. Jessica was looking or a rustic setting and chose Historic Yates Mill County Park in Raleigh.
Headbands of Hope was launched in April 2012 by Jessica Ekstrom. Headbands of Hope aims to start with awareness and end with a cure for cancer. For every headband purchased, one headband will go to a girl with cancer and $1 will be donated to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to fund life-saving childhood cancer research. You can order them online and are also sold in some retail stores, including Peachy Keen!
Cheri (above) has her own personal blog, the Overactive Blogger. She wrote her own personal post about Headbands of Hope!
